#1. Table Mountain
Experiencing Table Mountain is a must . . . this is no brainer.
The mountain is one of the most iconic and famous mountain in the world. the views of Cape Town from table mountain are breathtaking, and that view is something to be experienced.
#2. Robben Island
If you look at South African history and the journey that the country has been in, it is impossible to not have Robben island pop up. because former President Nelson Mandela spent a whopping 27 years in jail there.
The Robben Island Prison Museum is a reminder of where we have been as a country, and it’s a chance for international travelers to understand our history better.
#3. Lion’s Head
Lion’s Head is Cape Town’s with it’s panoramic city views is a must do.
It’s a truly beautiful spot to experience, and you can enjoy breathtaking views from up there. Some of the things that you are going to see include Table Mountain, Camps Bay, the city, Clifton beaches and more.
There are different routes that you can do, depending on your fitness level or preference.
#4. Visit Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden
Kirstenbosch is one of the places that you don’t want to miss out on, if you love beautiful plants and beautiful gardens. This is one of Africa’s most beautiful public gardens, right there in Cape Town for you to experience and marvel at.
While there, you can explore the Cape Floral Kingdom, and the world’s six floral kingdoms.
It’s the perfect spot for a picnic, which is absolutely beautiful to do.
#5. Go Wine Tasting
Cape Town has incredible wine farms, and wine tasting is one of the things that you should experience. It’s perfect for a Sunday afternoon, to try out different wines with nibbles.
It’s also an opportunity to learn more about wine, and their origins, and how to pair the wine properly.
It’s one of the great things to do as a couple.
#6. Go to the Beach
Cape Town has one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, perfect to spend an afternoon or two there.
Camps Bay beach is beautiful and easily accessible . . . not to mention the restaurants and shops right across the beach. There’s also Clifton beach, Muizenberg and Kalk bay.
You literally can pick a spot, and go setup a little picnic and just relax and enjoy the waves.
During the summer is the best time to do the beach.
#7. V & A Waterfront
The V &A Waterfront is one of the best places to visit in Cape Town, and there’s so much that you can do there.
There are a ton of restaurants to try out for dining experiences, there is shopping that you can do and the many activities that you can experience.
The sunset boat cruise is beautiful to do, and the canal cruise is great to learn more about the harbour nd the stunning properties there.
And there’s also the museum, if that is the kind of thing that you like. With the V&A Waterfront, you are definitely spoilt for choice on what you can do.
#8. Visit a Market
Cape Town has a few markets that you can take advantage of and explore.
One thing about markets is the vibe, the little gems that you can find in them that you can buy for you and your loved ones.
And the food . . . wow!
#9. Take a Helicopter Flight
If the budget allows, you should take a helicopter flight and see beautiful Cape town from a different perspective.
It’s a beautiful city, and a helicopter ride is an amazing experience to have. You can even add some romance to it by doing it with your significant other.
#10. Atlantis Dunes
Take it to the Atlantis Dunes and enjoy and exhilarating 4×4 rides on quad bikes.
The Atlantis Dunes are beautiful, you can spend an afternoon just getting your adrenaline pumping, and having an awesome time.
