Mozambique is one of the most beautiful places that I have been to, and it’s definitely a place that has made my “I need to get back there” list. My first trip to Mozambique was in October 2022, yes I waited too long.
If you are planning to do Praia Do Bilene, there are fun things for couples that you can do, that will get you relaxed and guarantee you a fun time.
As you know, spending quality as a couple and making beautiful memories is definitely something that couples need to prioritize. Love is beautiful, and it should be nurtured so that it can grow.
Without further do, here are:
5 Things to do for Couples in Bilene (Mozambique) for Creating Beautiful Memories
#1. Do a Couples Massage
A couples massage is always a good idea, especially if it’s in a stunning location like Bilene, where you are right by the beach.
At San Martinho Beach Club, they have the perfect place for you and your bae to enjoy the massage. Not only will it evoke beautiful emotion and get you relaxed, it’s an amazing bonding experience that will help your relationship thrive, and furthermore, it encourages intimacy.
You and bae will be in a magical location, and you definitely should take advantage of that.

#2. Do Date Night & Experience a Mozambican Dining Experience
Enjoy the beautiful space and chilled out vibes at one of the restaurants in Bilene. There’s one in San Martinho called Sandbar & Lounge Café, which is right on the beach. Enjoy a romantic dining experience with your love and enjoy dinner with the sand underneath your feet.
Nghunghwa also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a nice meal with your bae. And from San Martinho, it’s only a boat ride away.
Mozambique has some of the best seafood there is to try, you can also opt for a traditional food and be a bit more adventurers with yor choice.

#3. Take a Boat Trip & Explore the calm water of Mozambique
Tropical beach holidays can never be complete without a boat trip, and when you do it with your partner or spouse, it can be very romantic.
There are a few companies that can organise a boat trip, and I must say it’s a beautiful experience. It allows you to explore the lagoon and its surroundings, doing this as a couple is highly recommended.
And if you are looking for a speed boat type of an experience, that is also available. At your hotel, just enquire at reception and they will steer you in the right direction.

#4. Explore the Sand Dunes on a 4×4 or Quad Biking
If you have done the Atlantis Dunes on a quad bike, or if you have done quad biking in the past, then you will know how much fun it can be.
You can explore the sand dunes in Bilene on a 4×4 or on quad bikes . . . the choice is up to you. You and your partner will be able to see the lagoon in a way that you cannot see, if you are on foot or on a boat.
Besides, it’s an opportunity to have an amazing experience where you can enjoy the scenic drive around the edge of the lagoon. After all, you will be on a tropical paradise. . . milk it for all you can and the memories you create will last a lifetime.
#5. The Local Bilene Market
If you are looking to experience the Mozambican culture and soak up on it a bit, then the Bilene Market is the place to go.
There are stalls with different things, from food, to clothes to ornaments, the market is one of the best way to experience the culture of this tropical paradise.
The market is also where you can find something unique and special to take back home with you, something that will remind you of the trip and the memories that you will have made in Mozambique.

Want to do Bilene/Mozambique? Plan It Properly
My partner and I loved Mozambique so much, that we have decided that we will be going back in the near future. We had an amazing time, but I must be honest that we didn’t do everything that we wanted to do.
And it all boiled down to the budget!
We had to postpone our trip twice before it finally happened, so that messed up our plans a little bit.
The advice that I can give anyone wanting to do Bilene, or Mozambique (or any trip for that matter), is to save for their trip well in advance. Most people just don’t have the kind of money that affords them to take spontaneous trips, and it sucks when you now have to decide on activities/entertainment because they are cheaper, or that the one you want to do is out of your budget.
