Truth be told, Hartbeespoort has a lot of gems, when it comes to getting away from the city for some relaxation.
We found a gem on one of our visits, called Cozy Kosmos. The views from that property are stunning and there are so many romantic things to do in Harties.
One of the things that we enjoyed a lot was a picnic right by the dam, it was truly beautiful.
Another romantic activity that you will enjoy is the aerial cableway and enjoy Harties from the sky.

#7. Idwala Le Ingwe, Hekpoort
Idwala Le Ingwe makes it to this list because it is a stunning place to escape the city for a day or two. It is luxury glamping, in a beautifully decorated tent . . . that has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, a small lounge, dining and kitchen area.
You and your lover can enjoy braaing together, taking a hike or simply spending time in the pool. If you are looking to get out of the compound, there’s lots to do in Magaliesburg and the surrounds, such as hot air ballooning if the budget allows.
We recently checked out Idwala Le Ingwe and found to be charming. It is located up a hill, so the views of the Magalies are stunning, and it is a nice feeling to wake up in the bushes, with just your human.
Havana Villa, in Pretoria East
A few weeks ago, in August, we spent some time at this beautiful Villa in Pretoria, Havana Villa, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
It is a 2 bedroom super spacious apartment, and in addition to the space, it is stunning. From the second we arrived, right up until we left, we had an amazing experience, the host was very responsive and helpful, it really was a stunning home away from home.
What made us love the villa even more, is the fact that it has a fully equipped kitchen, because we love to cook. We also loved the wood fired hot tub, and we spent the bulk of our time outside, in the tub, sipping our favourite drinks.
We had packed our drinks, and our favourite snacks, to make a nice platter with the nibbles, and we had an absolutely great time connecting with each other.
The outside area, also has braai facilities, you know South Africans love to braai, making it perfect for entertaining. It also has a patio, a boma area and an outdoor dining area. It really has everything you would need for a perfect getaway.
This villa makes to the list, because it’s cozy, and really feels like you aren’t in Gauteng. It’s great for couples to do a shot left, and connect in such a beautiful space, away from the city. Highly recommend Havana villa for couples or friends.
