Launch of Reign Restaurant at the Peermont D’oreal Grande Hotel, Emperors Palace
Last Thursday, we attended the official launch of Reign, the new restaurant at Emperors Palace. It was a magical dining experience . . . to say the least!
Reign is situated on the ground floor of the 5 Star Peermont D’oreal Grande Hotel at Emperors Palace, overlooking the fountain of the Emperors Palace . . . it’s absolutely breathtaking!
As we got to the foyer of the Peermont D’oreal Grande Hotel, you could already sense the vibe. Some of the event attendees were already there chatting, sipping on champagne and taking in Reign and it’s styish and modern decor.
When we walked in, we were greeted by friendly waiters, offering us champagne, and based on that first 2 minutes, we knew we were in for a dining experience to remember. Everyone seemed to be having an amazing time, we were in great company.
After the formal part of the launch, we got to enjoy amazing food, drinks were flowing throughout the night, not to mention the attentive and friendly staff that made the experience even more pleasant. We got a taste of what we can expect from Reign Restaurant, and if we had to judge the food from the launch that night, WOW! I loved how Reign enticed our sense of smell and sight, and we devoured everything that Chef Themba prepared, and washed it down with their beautiful cocktails and champagne.
We cannot talk about Reign without talking about the space. . . . it is beautiful. The space has a modern contemporary look, very elegant and classy. The aesthetics are beautiful, it is set to become one of the popular fine dining spots, not just in the East, but in Gauteng.
Reign has an outside dining area, which overlooks the fountain of the palace and the huge pool. It’s breathtakingly beautiful . . . the view of the fountain, the pool and the sound of the water adds to the ambience.
Reign Restaurant is opening on Monday 5th December 2022 to the public , do yourself a favor and treat yourself…thank me later. The staff truly take the guest service seriously as they went out of their way to ensure we all had a superior dining experience.
And the food. . . was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted as beautiful as it looked, and we certainly can’t wait to go back to experience this dining destination yet again.
