Quad Biking at Atlantis Dunes

Quad Biking at Atlantis Dunes, Cape Town

Quad Biking Atlantis Dunes in Cape Town is something that we have been wanting to do for the longest time, and when the opportunity arose, we knew we were not going to miss it.

Quad biking Atlantis Dunes is a lot of fun. Before we did it, we would see pictures of people on social media on the quad bikes, and we knew it was an experience that we needed to do.

So, we started doing some research and found a few companies that we could book with and paid – it was R900 per person. We decided on all the things that we wanted to do for the trip, made plans and then put together a trip to Cape Town. All that was left to do was do the count down.

The day finally came, and we flew to Cape Town, using the Lift airline.

On the day of our quad biking experience, our transport picked us up from our hotel, and drove us there. The plan was for the transport to wait for us during our experience, so they seamlessly drive us back after, which worked out very well.

Quad Biking Atlantis Dunes: The Experience

On the day, we got to the Atlantis Dunes around 1 pm, and it was a hot day, and we were super excited. We needed to get there 30 minutes prior, so they could prepare us and get the necessary paperwork done. Once they were done giving us the talk about safety, and giving us the helmets, we were ready to go. I loved that there was no quad biking experience needed.

When we got to where the bikes were, they explained to us how the bikes work and how to operate them, where the brakes were and the accelarator.

It was crunch time  . . . and I cannot put into the words how exhilarating the experience was. We chose our bikes, and the Atlantis Dunes was ours to experience and explore.

Truth be told, the view at the dunes is breathtaking. Just picture a whole hour of exhilarating fun and adventure . . . it was truly a memorable experience, one to remember and one I would like to experience again.

Surprisingly, the bikes were very easy to operate, and I found them stable. The experience wasn’t scary at all, and we rode our quads to a beautiful spot where we could take pictures.

It was pretty obvious to see how popular quad biking at the Atlantic Dunes was, because there were other groups that were doing the same experience as we were, and some were in Jeeps.

The guides were also very helpful and friendly, they even offered to snapp us some shots.

Quad Biking Atlantis Dunes: Final Thoughts

This was one of the best experiences that I have done so far, and I would recommend this to everyone. The only thing I wish I could have changed was to make the experience last a bit longer. As they say, “time flies when you are having fun”, the hour went by so quickly.

If you ever find yourself in the beautiful city of Cape Town, make sure that you make your way to the Atlantis Dunes and do some quad  biking. I promise you, you won’t regret it!
