Plato Coffee Boksburg – A Review
Plato Coffee . . . I am not a huge coffee person but lately I have been seeing Plato Coffee pop up everywhere, which made me want to try it out and experience it, and when the opportunity presented itself . . . I did.
A few days back, I read that they have just opened their tenth location in Boksburg, and with all the buzz that I have been seeing on social media, it was time to check it out.
And when I did . . . it didn’t disappoint. When I got there . . . I saw a cute, beautiful and stylish space, and even though the space is small, character wise, it had a lot going for it.
The first thing that caught my eye was the design and simplicity of their space. It’s minimalistic design, and unlike any other coffee shop that I have seen before.
The menu is only on the wall, and when I looked at it I had no idea there were that many options when it comes to coffee. Made me think that maybe I am sleeping on coffee and that I needed to give it a bit more attention.
Plato Coffee & its Varieties of Coffees
I was a bit conflicted about what to order, in the end I settled between the Plato and a latte. I wanted something hot, and after talking about it with one of the guys that work there, I settled on the latte . . . a decision I didn’t regret.
For coffee lovers . . . the menu is perfect. It literally describes what you will be getting and what will be in your coffee. For example. . . had I ordered a Dirty Caribbean, it would be coconut, chocolate, espresso shots and micro foam. I thought that was perfect, and tells you exacly what you are ordering.
They have a lot of coffee alternatives, from Caribbean Mocha, Flirty Chai, Con Hielo, Cortado, Thalia to Koleha, Socrates and more. They also have different flavours to choose from, Hazelnut, Vanilla, Caramel, Salted caramel and Condensed Milk. Their milk alternatives include almond, soy, oats, macadamia and coconut.
