That is not true however . . . in fact the smaller your niche, the more specialized it will be. If a brand reaches out to you to work with you, they need to pay for that exposure. Yes, depending on the situation, you might work for little or free in order to build relationships, however, the best way is to know your worth and charge accordingly.
