Kelly Rowland Back in South Africa for Brutal Fruit #YouBelong Campaign
We attended The Brutal Fruit Experience with Kelly Rowland on Saturday the 10th December, and it was absolutely amazing.
The intimate and glamourous Spritzer Saturday event was at the Old Park Station . . . the perfect venue with the breathtaking view of Mandela bridge. It was beautiful to see gorgeous women gather and embrace their womanhood in the #YouBelong campaign, which is all about women taking up space and belonging in spaces where they are worthy to be in.
It was a beautiful well orchestrated space where women from all walks of life could share the space and feel that they belong: belong to be there, belong to shine in their respective fields and belong to celebrate their achievemets. There aren’t a lot of experiences that celebrate women as their aunthetic selves, and this campaign is very refreshing as it encourages all women to rise up and break the boundaries that may be standing in their way to get to their higher selves.
At the Brutal Fruit Luncheon with Kelly Rowland, guests enjoyed amazing food, which included Petit Chicken and Apple Waldorf Salads, Spicy Tuna Fashion sandwich Sushi, Crab cakes, crisp baked spinach & feta Spanakopita, Dressed lamb kefetdes on zetsy lemon tahina, Pepper berry feef fillet rosti, fynbos honey rost butternut, swiss chard, apple and rocitta quiche and more.
The drinks were flowing and we enjoyed stunning performances from the likes of Ayanda MVP, Elaine, Gina Mabasa and more.
And to top it all off, Kelly Rowland showed up . . . of course. And the ladies went crazy, which was beautiful to watch.
Kelly Rowland first came to South Africa earlier this year, when she was announced as the brand ambassador for Brutal Fruit. She has embraced the women of South Africa, just as they have embraced her, which is really beautiful.
“The women of South Africa have captured my heart,” Kelly said. “Coming back here after all these months I was most excited to experience the love, light and authenticity that the women here exude. The Spritzer Saturday luncheon was the cherry on top. It reminded me exactly why we do this. Every woman in attendance was glowing and I loved how we all embraced our uniqueness.”
The #YouBelong Brutal Fruit Spritzer Saturday Experience with Kelly Rowland was everything we thought it would be. In true Brutal Fruit fashion, this was a summer experience to remember, it was an “elegant soiree right in the heart of the city, with stunning views, exciting performances and an indulgent culinary experience.”
